Abstract

The theme of the internationalization of the curriculum stems from what has long been discussed, theoretically and methodologically, for the curriculum of Higher Education and seeks to answer the question that the objective: how can the internationalization agenda be given in the passage of a paradigm? For this, we took as reference the concept and practices, the principles and foundations of internationalization in Higher Education, the concept of internationalization in Basic Education, in order to discuss the proposition of an internationalization for the basic education curriculum. The methodology applied is bibliographic. The analysis of the contexts of Higher Education and Education allows identifying internationalization strategies as a way to demonstrate that they can be realigned and applied appropriately, at all levels of basic education education and in the paradigm shift. The theoretical contribution that subsidizes this article are: Jacinto (2022); Thiesen (2018, 2019).
