Mobile technology: the use of mobile phone for teaching English as a foreign language in further education

This research investigated the use of two applications for mobile technology in the subject of English Language, seeking to identify different ways to provide critical visual literacy, allowing students to get the ability to learn and acquire information through listening activities. The study examined the applicability of using the cellular phone as a mobile device for learning English through free applications. The conclusion reached with this research was that the use of cellular phone in language teaching provides a different and productive flexibility for the student to acquire knowledge in a new way in a traditional teaching environment.
