Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Genre: An Experience with the Pedagogical Forum of the Communication and Expression Subject in the Business Management Course - DE (FATEC)

In this experience report, ideas related to one of the genres of the Virtual Learning Environment of the Communication and Expression (discipline) are exposed (Technology in Business Management course – DE, at Fatec São Paulo): the pedagogical forum, that is, the platform space for interaction between teachermediators and the teacher responsible for the discipline. The objective is, firstly, from the presentation of situations of stimulus and response to the debate among the mentioned professionals, to indicate the characteristics that allow us to recognize it as a textual genre. Secondly, we intend to discuss the reasons for considering the VLE as its “support”. Finally, it is intended to show how the coexistence of textual typologies in the genre in focus collaborate in the task of preparing teachers for debate with students in the forum of questions. The theoretical foundation is by Marcuschi, in the texts “Textual genres: definition and functionality”(2002?) and “Textual production, analysis of genres and understanding” (2008).
